VERGIS ALEXANDROS

I am a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts, with a degree in Painting and integrated studies in Photography and Printmaking. I have been a professional photographer in the visual arts and the events domains since 2008.
   
I started out photographing sports events for marketing purposes, and incentives – meetings & conferences. Soon after I turned to artwork photography, whose ever diverse, exciting and challenging character – requiring the photographer use high-grade equipment and stretch the limits of their photography skills – is that which made me fall in love with my work.

In time, I started photographing events – such as weddings and baptisms – soon counting them as the other favourite part of my job, where professionalism, good rapport and a proper amount of humor, create an optimal working environment and ensure the experience of the photoshoot and the end result will be the best by both parties' – client and photographer – standards.

From the outset of my career, I have worked each photography job with one thing in mind: the faithful reproduction of a beautiful image that deserves to be photographed. To that end, I use shooting and lighting equipment that is ideal for each photoshoot, and which I upgrade on a regular basis, and then I devote the required amount of time and attention to the editing of each photograph, using certified, top-of-the-line image-editing tools. This way I ensure the produced images invariably boast accurate colors and the right light.
